Exceptional

Nice and helpful staff. Not only the Safari is an amazing experience. Also the villages around the camp are very impressive: never met so nice and kind people around on our trip before. The accommodation met our expectations, I can imagine that mainstream tourist will expect higher standards. They should keep in mind that this stay is an authentic safari camp:)

As before it was thoroughly enjoyable

This was my 4th stay at Jungle View Resort. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a pleasant Whatsapp message on the day of my arrival in Sawai Madhopur informing me that I would be picked up from the Railway Station - the vehicle number of the Gypsy and driver contact info was provided. I had not requested for this so it was definitely a nice surprise and I was happy to pay for this service. As with my previous stays, I like this hotel as it is the closest to Zones 1-6. So you are last to be picked up and first to be dropped back. The cottage is clean and AC very effective. There were only a couple more guests staying and catering was done as per our convenience. Food is very good. Once again I requested them to make their delicious mutton curry and it tasted as good as before! Of course the stay becomes more enjoyable when the purpose is met. Spotting of 7 tigers in Zone 2 was the highlight of this trip. The other two safaris were not that fruitful but nonetheless enjoyable as we saw a Sloth Bear and couple of tigers in the distance. It wasn't as hot as expected since the summer sun was behind clouds and one time it drizzled lightly in the park.

Disappointing: Indian satandards, European prices

the food was very good and the staff was polite. the swimming pool was clean and refreshing and the bed was comfortable and the room clean.

Despite they organised the safari we felt that we overpaid completely and that they got an excessive cut from it. We asked for additional bed and they charged it at almost the price of another room. the staff was not useful, we asked for help to book some train tickets and they told us that it was not possible to book we went in person to train station and were able to get the tickets. The drinks were overpriced.
