Perfect place to stay in downtown Vancouver
I'm a local but a friend from out of town was visiting and we wanted to stay downtown. This location is excellent, the staff were wonderful and probably because it was off-season, the price was very good. If you want a place with a kitchenette so you can prepare some of your food, I recommend the Rosedale Suites. The beds are comfortable and you'll have everything you need for a good stay.
We changed rooms during our stay and the air-conditioning system in the new room was rather noisy.

A great hotel with warm, friendly service. Everything was great. The elevators are older and slower, but I find it charming instead of inconvenient.
