The hotel was amazing. However I'm very upset with booking.com because, after some expensive phone calls, I was told that I had canceled my booking. This is not true and I have an email from the hotel confirming that they never got a cancelation so we went ahead with staying there and have now paid twice - firstly to booking. Com and also to the hotel on arrival. I will be pursuing this further as I need to have my original payment to booking.com refunded

My stay in Hotel Bristol Zurich
Property is located in less than 10 minutes from Zurich central station. It is in a quite location but nearby there are restaurants, super market and so on. Staffs were very good and helpful
They should keep body lotion. No mini fridge r safe lock

Closer to the reason station and easy to get to walking
Room was awful, dirty, felt like 1970s. Half the power plugs didnt work, queen bed was made with 2 single duvets. Whole place was very dated. Staff were rude and surely, one walked out of the kitchen doing up the zip in his pants!

The quad room has a separate area for 2 singles which is good for some privacy
The free breakfast was surprisingly adequate with breads, cereals, milk, fruit juice, yoghurt, fruits. Considering how expensive food is in Switzerland, this is a good start for the day.
The shared bathroom is all in one, toilet and shower room is together, so must wait to use

Receptionist on 28 Dec 23 morning was less than helpful. Breakfast was really basic compared to other hotels in the area with the same price range.
