Superb

Location, Quirky Design and Small Luxury

The hotel is located right at the beginning of La Rambla Street and is conveniently close to the bus station for the aerobus, as well as many other tour companies' starting points. I really appreciate the hotel's quirky design and its proximity to many tourist attractions. Although I had heard many warnings about pickpockets and robberies in the area before my trip, I found that it wasn't as bad as I had feared. It's just important to stay alert and aware of your surroundings.

As some other reviewers pointed out, the division between the bathroom and the sleeping area is a transparent glass door. We taped a thin scarf onto the glass door to provide privacy (we brought the scarf and tape, especially for this purpose). The room is quite cramped compared to the US standards; we rearranged the furniture to make it work.

Location is very good and hotel has a nice feel. Staff helpful and rooms nicely done.

Rooms are quite small but its a city centre hotel so understandable. Main annoyance was noise. Not from outside but from the corridor and other rooms. Sadly noise proofing is not very good.

Amazing staff and customer service

Staff were friendly and awesomely helpful. View on the 6th floor was gorgeous. Room was little tight for two adults with luggage but expected for city center. Location is perfect, walking distance to all restaurants, 15 min walk to all leisure shopping. Doormen were THE best in helping with luggages and getting taxi in any hour.

Not much negativity! Maybe the scary bird sounds every morning.

Pleasant overall, but some serious flaws - see above.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and tidy. Central location.

Bathroom/lavatory has see through glass door. I would not have booked if I had known. Lift to our floor not working. Shower flooded bathroom floor too easily. Bedroom Terrace has obscured view due to high wall. Some fittings in our suite needed fixing / replacement.
