This Holiday Inn Express in Richmond Downtown is highly praised for its convenient location near theaters, pubs, and restaurants. The staff provided excellent service, offering helpful recommendation (Read More)s and resolving reservation issues promptly. The hotel, while older, is clean. Guests enjoyed the comfortable beds and pillows. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of options, including omelettes, bagels, sausage, biscuits with gravy, and pancakes. The parking garage has a six-foot clearance and is free. Overall, a very pleasant stay with a rating of 9 out of 10.

Impressed with the whole experience

We were pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The two gentleman that checked us in/out were so pleasant and inviting, the room was incredibly spacious, and the location was perfect.

The only thing we didnt care for, which in this day and age has nothing to do with the hotel cleanliness, was the overwhelming smell of pot in the elevator and in the hallway of the 3rd floor where we stayed. Thankfully our room didnt smell of pot at all.

Convenient for convention center events

Location within walking distance to the convention center. Breakfast served early at 6:30 Staff was helpful and friendly. Coffee and tea available 24 hrs.

Room lighting is too dim. Elevator was dirty and smelled like marijuana smoke.

Good

Beds were really comfy, staff was nice especially John!, i especially like the space in the room.

I am just not a fan of the big city. That had nothing to with holiday inn. But there was blood spots on the pillow i was sleeping on and we noticed some on the lamp as well.

The location & staff were nice

We had to wait an hour for our reserved room at 5pm. Our roof leaked a ton right above the door our first night there & carpet & couch had stains on them.

Beware of the Holiday Day Inn!

Nothing!

The hotel property had old furniture & decor, dirty bathroom room, stained on wall and curtains , mildew odor, and the environment was located in downtown Richmond, VA! The customers were trying to sell us drugs and prostitution! the best environment at the Richmond! I would never stay at a Holiday Inn Express! Join Marriot Bonvoy!
