Great overall

Complimentary breakfast - very helpful staff, change of rooms upon request due to cleanliness

Initial room wasnt cleaned well, but staff was very proactive in changing our room to one that was correctly cleaned.

Disappointing

We would not choose to stay here again.

The balcony.

1. The booking assured us that there was a minibar and robes - neither of these were present, and neither was the gym. 2. The curtains and sofa in our room were quite heavily stained. 3. The light bulbs needed replacing. 4. All the drawers in the cupboard were broken. 5. The minibar was an empty, stand-alone fridge on a cupboard which was dangerously hot because of the location. 6. The bedside lamp had exposed wiring. 7. The front desk was not manned often, and the person who checked us in seemed frustrated by our presence, as though we were an inconvenience. 8. 35 AUD a night for parking seems excessive. 9. The water pressure in the shower was severely lacking. 10. You had to pay for additional speed of Wi-Fi. Not suitable for those who work while they travel.

We booked last minute accomodation the night before and it was great value for money, great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The muffin and apple juice waiting at our door was the perfect touch. We will be back!

Generally good stay.

Breakfast was offered, which was really good. The room was spacious.

The shower didn't work very well, with low pressure. The bathroom had no privacy. Location was not very close to bus/train stations.

Superb

Excellent staff, easy location, wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff were exceptional. We arrived Christmas Eve, Matthew greeted us at reception and he was a pleasure to interact with every time. The lady who checked us out as well was also lovely. Hotel was very sleek aesthetic. Comfortable beds.

Air con in room turns off automatically if you open the balcony door. The shower in our room leaked a little, had to put an extra towel down to stop it flowing out of the shower. Walking past the parking area, very strong smell of old seafood almost. But they do have a seafood restaurant attached (we didnt get to try) but presumably the bins will be down there.
