Some areas are quite dirty and not well maintained The service is the area that requires the biggest improvement. The staff need some serious training to bring it up to 5 star level. Constantly had to search for staff to assist.

Stunning property but in need of some love to return to full glory

Stunning location and well appointed heritage features and pool. The Heritage Wing suites are very spacious and the balcony offers fabulous views of the palm tree lined seafront and beyond. The staff and GM are very present and generally try to take care of most needs.

While the Heritage Wing was only refurbished in 2019, many aspects are already run down or in need of replacement (i.e. sun-bed seat liners) and broken things replaced. The suites are quite noisy - both through the hall like architecture and the air system - noise travelling from other parts of the hotel (i.e. ballroom two floors below).

The best hotel we've ever stayed in.

Everything at the E&O was perfect. Beautiful architecture, beautiful interior design, attention to detail, friendly and helpful staff, a generous sense of hospitality, great pool, a couple of good bars and good breakfasts.

There's not a lot to improve on, but possibly I would say that the creation of a really top quality restaurant (though the food was pretty good) might be something to aspire to.

Wonderful spoily experience - we will come again.

Breakfast offered a large choice of food from all over the world. Staff was trying to fullfill any wish you could possibly have. Absolutely amazing. Rooms spacious and clean.

Sunloungers on the pool are a bit dated. They urgently need new toppers or hardfoam or best - just replace them.
