Exceptional

Great Parade, Bowl and Old Town Pasadena experience.

Centrally located and we had no need for a rental car. Short walk to the Rose Bowl free shuttle, 15 min walk to our Rose Parade Grand Stand seating, 10 min walk to Marstons. Many front desk employees and a generous late checkout.

Very poor

They had construction going on which made getting the hotel horrible ( ie front desk to room , rooms to restaurant, room to street level were all horrible.) And to top it off, they had no posted directions/map/instructions on how to get around inside the hotel given all the construction obstacles. Finally, staff also did not give any decent instructions on how to get around. Given how poorly this was handled, I would never stay there again.

Room and location was perfect. Meal at the restaurant was good and generous for the price. Thank you

Construction during my stay, however didnt heard noise. Just a lot of material in garage, which was a little difficult to find a spot.

Location for my purposes

While I received an email from staff after my reservation was confirmed about renovations, I could not have prepared for the mess on site. The garage was littered with materials, particularly around the guest entrances to the hotel and parking spaces, some of which were closed to guest use. I was stunned the property was open. I do understand the need to maintain the staff, however.

Good

Over charged for a less then acceptable conditions.

Location was good.

The facility, from the parking structure throughout the hotel was a mess due to the construction work. The price per night was the same(expensive), except it was in shambles.

Do not use this hotel until renovations are complete.

Our room was fully renovated.

Half our floor was a demolition zone as they renovate every room. This wasnt disclosed before we got there.

Bad

I should have booked a different hotel in Pasadena.

The staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel looked a bit rundown. Some rooms were under renovation. There were dust everywhere. For the price I paid, I don't think it was worth it. It was a total disappointment esp knowing it was managed by Marriott.
