Lovely chill spot, recommended for Galle exploration and quiet relaxation afterward

Very peaceful property close to Galle. Lovely pool, but no other facilities, foreby breakfast, at present. There was, on hand, a tuk-tuk. driver, Era, who cheerfully took us to and from Galle during the day or evening, for a very reasonable charge. (10 - 15 minutes to the clock tower) His wife's number is +94 71 136 0031. Without the tuk tuk it would have been quite isolated, although I'm sure we could have taxi-ed in and out, instead. The village is on the edge of the jungle and we were lucky enough to see a few monkeys and a civet from our balcony.

We were upgraded for 2 nights to a very lovely room, but then had to return to our booked room for the next 2 nights.

The most peaceful place you will stay in the Yala region

Couldnt recommend this property more, 11/10. Justin and his team were fantastic with arranging all we needed, welcoming us, and going above and beyond with requests. Justin arranged a private cooking lesson for me with his chef which I would highly recommend. It is a small collection of private villas so there is complete peace and calm. The villas were luxurious and roomy for a couple and would definitely be a great place to stay for a family vacation. The food was by far the best and most authentic we had in Sri Lanka and outranked all other hotel food. Fresh fruit was amazing. The safari arranged by Wild Lotus was a stunning private experience to be remembered forever, with a comfortable Land Rover for the ride. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Simply perfect

From the moment you step in, there is a sea of tranquility replacing the hustle and bustle from the street. The room were spacious and the bathroom was opened air and so beautiful. The personal was really helpful and made us feel directly at home. They brought us the breakfast to our villa and was delicious. The swimming pool was perfect for refreshing and chilling there. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

We had a super relaxing time here. The villas are very secluded and quiet, set back in a beatifully landscaped garden. The pool was ideal for cooling off. Breakfast was served on our terrace overlooking the garden and the Sri Lanka breakfast was delightful. Tuk tuks are on standby to whizz you into the Fort area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outside bathroom and tree shower was a great addition and memorable with a couple of butterflies joining me in the mornings!

Fabulous stay at Ceylon Olive

Great location just 5 mins by car/tuk tuk from Galle Fort. Kumudu is a great host and Eran was always on hand to give a tuk tuk ride whenever we needed it. Lovely garden and pool. Wonderful breakfast.
