This historical hotel in downtown Long Beach offers a great location, with many key points of interest within walking distance. However, both reviewers had issues with the bed, describing the mattres (Read More)s as horrible and causing backaches. Despite this, they still enjoyed their overall experience at the hotel.

Lovely building noisy way too noisy bars Id stay again if the bars were boutiques

Original architecture exterior. The location in the tiny spot in Long Beach. Full kitchen. Nice shower/bath. The function of the old windows so cool. The fact that the owner had the idea to put windows on the inside to insulate from weather but leave those amazing original widows installed. Loved that.

The flights stairs will only kill you if youve got a bag or two or three stairs dont bother me unless I must carry heavy dead weight. The bed was broken. The legs on the support frame were broken it moved when I moved in the night -squeaky etc . Very Hard to sleep. The extremely loud drunks in 2 bars on the lower floor and 1 in the surrounding area . Ive stayed at two other little hotels on the same street with the very same issue with the noise from the bars feels like those loud shouting drunk people are literally inside the room. I think thats weird but Long Beach doesnt care much about ordinances.

I like the little kitchen I think it was cute.

I didn't like the bed. The sounds from other rooms the hard that it is to check in it looks like the place it's falling apart. I'm sorry my last visit was almost a year and half ago from then to now the place has deteriorate a lot.

I certainly didnt like the noise, level of the rock n roll and jazz and music and loud screaming and shouting from the place downstairs. Two bars downstairs very loud very busy, shouting and drunk people police officers chasing cars just because theres a bar downstairs they cant regulate that thats ridiculous. You need to have a conversation with the owner of that company and have them either close their doors and windows or insulate thedoors and windows just another damn Paradise. Nobody seems to.

Nothing never went into the property Was never able to get key code to enter the hotel They refused to refund my money after so many attempts they said Im a liar but I have proof that I never entered the hotel no deposit was ever charged to my card so yeah I wouldnt recommend staying here

Unique stay!

Self check in, everything.

The bed felt a little bit like sleeping on an inflatable bed but overall great lovely absolutely worth it. The toilet paper is a little rough and its the 1-ply paper, Id recommend bringing your own.

No towels Tried the a/c and power went off and on Highly DISSAPOINTED in NOT being able to have a bath I would have stayed here if I did not know, I could not use the bath tub different pricing for late check Book in the room says $25 but the staff says no it went up to $45 No where did I see At first no cold water in shower then my girlfriend had no hot water Windows wouldnt open so no a/c and no open windows
