Spacious rooms Amazing pool Attentive staff

Nothing that would stop me coming back and I still rate 10/10 however after it rained our bathroom had a chemical smell which remained for our entire stay. Fresh towels after the room is serviced would also be a nice touch

The staff is exceptionally friendly. Big rooms. Just off the busy main road, so quiet, yet only1 minute walk from the beach. Perfect location. Thanks everyone for the lovely stay!!

Everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and helpful, the rooms were immaculate and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast brought to the room to eat on the balcony too was great.

Home comfort in Mirissa.

The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The walk-in shower was quite a bonus. Every morning my breakfast was delivered to my room and I enjoyed sitting comfortably on my large balcony listening to birds and eating leisurely. Madhu was amazing. When I went to ask her if where I could find a pharmacy, she took care of everything and gave me the pills I needed. She also arranged transport whenever I needed. I loved my stay so much that I extended it by two more additional days (when I initially booked for 2 days only).

Its a very minor problem,their electricity wiring is crazy Nothing that would stop me to come back.

Very spacious and modern room, happy staff and good location.

The staff were amazing - really happy and really helpful. Breakfast was cute to have brought to you on the balcony for a change. Rooms and bathroom were very spacious!

Doors didnt close properly so mosquitos got in so easily.

Excellent place to stay and I would stay here again

The property is beautiful and generally very well kept. There were a few things that were a bit run down but the entire time we were there people were fixing and improving things. The staff was incredible and very welcoming and flexible to meet our needs. We really felt well treated and taken care of. The property is in the best location along the beach, a short walk to the beach but with the bonus of being quiet and away enough from the loud activity. We had a great view and could be at the beach in 5 minutes. Lots of restaurants around and walkable to everything.

Honestly I don't have anything bad to say.

Beautiful!

The pool was beautiful and very quiet. The manager was very friendly too and all the staff were very accommodating. The hotel was only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay!

Our experience at Balena Regency in Mirissa was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel, nestled in lush greenery, was a tranquil oasis, with beautifully appointed rooms offering stunning views. The standout feature was the remarkable hospitality, especially from the owner, Madu, whose personal attention and warmth added a unique touch to our stay. Meals at the hotel were a culinary delight, showcasing the best of local cuisine with fresh ingredients. The staff's willingness to go above and beyond made us feel truly pampered. The close proximity to the serene Mirissa beaches was an added bonus, making our days blissfully relaxing. In summary, Balena Regency is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality, thanks to Madu and his team. We left with unforgettable memories and a yearning to return.
