super great accommodation! we can highly recommend it. the perfect place to relax and enjoy the moment. Gaby and her staff, especially Milinda, will give you a wonderful time at this place. Gaby is a lovely person and has created a wonderful place. Nice and big rooms. Delicious breakfast and Italian food in the restaurant. Very nice garden with pool.

Superb

Gabi, the owner, is very kind and welcoming - always ready to help you! The rooms are spotless, well equipped and they are well isolated so the room keeps a good temperature even without using the AC. The basic breakfast provides fresh products and a good presentation. Finally the location is 2-3 minutes walking distance to the beach - on top of that you can also use the swimming pool.

Perfect stay in a quiet and beautiful village

A beautiful villa in a pretty quiet village surrounded by tropical green and monkeys. The rooms are big, clean and well decorated and we liked the balcony. At the end, the owner as well as the staff make you feel comfortable and breakfast is super!

Lovley place to stay in Talalla

We had a wonderful stay at the Garden Villa and can totally recommend this place. Most likely the best place to stay when visiting Talalla. The hotel staff is super friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the pool within the super green garden is really nice. Rooms are well equipped, clean and come with mosquito nets. The beautiful beach and good restaurants are only a 2 minute walk away.

Lovely stay in Talalla

Beautiful pool and gardens. Very short walk to the beach. Immaculately clean, large comfortable room with balcony. Thoughtful touches in the room like tea, filtered water, torch, toiletries and plug in mosquito repellent. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water. Friendly, helpful host (Gabi). The proper coffee machine. Good breakfast. Lovely and quiet, but a couple of eating options very nearby.

Not worth the value

The room is large with a nice balcony, the pool.

The host was helpful to us prior our arrival, but once there compared to the amazing hospitality we received at previous homestays in Sri Lanka it was just a 2/10 and this for the triple of the price we paid in some homestays. The breakfast is also not comparable to the other accomodations we have been, which had way more quantity and werent that pricey. We just has breakfast once at the Hotel and choosed to go out for the next days at the breakfast outside the hotel offered just better quantity and quality for a much better price. Overall it is just not comparable to the amazing hospitality we got from the locals, where the hosts are so helpful. It is the little things during our stay at the villa garden that have brought us dissapointment like asking for the prices of the laundry 3 times. We had dinner at the hotel once and were sit down with the owner and the other guests, which was very uncomfortable since we werent expecting it, and is just a german action. Chanaka, the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly with us, making our stay comfortable. However we were disappointed with the owners lack of hospitality and kindness.

Warm and welcoming- staff were lovely Very comfortable European feel Safe in room Pretty garden and pool area - pool v clean Great location to beach Nothing was to much bother Water provided and fresh towels Only had breakfast here but was good Loved seeing the wildlife in the garden And of course diva and Rocco

It would have been nice to be able to pay on card or through .com, i managed to make a online payment in the end as cash is king in this area.

An oasis of tranquility served with charm and and abundance of caring attention

This small and very private seeming hotel is a tranquil oasis built and run to an exquisite standard by the owner (Gabi, the charming German owner is clearly an accepted and much respected member of this small community - far from being an expat). All of Gabi's support staff operate to a quiet level of excellence that is so appealing it makes on wish one could linger here for months, not mere days. Garden Villa is situated on a quiet country lane no more than four minutes stroll to the tranquility and outstanding beauty of Talalla Beach. This is in every way a haven (unless of course you prefer the scruffy crush and higher charges of Mirissa).

Beautiful hotel and location. Outstanding hospitality

Gabbi and Chanuka were the most wonderful hosts, a real home from home. The property, pool and garden is beautiful. We booked the triple room, which was huge and had a great size balcony too. Location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach which is one the most peaceful we have seen on our trip. Proper coffee was such a treat and the breakfast was delicious. We cant wait to try and make our own Sri Lankan omelettes at home! Highly recommend and thank you for making it such a special experience
