This is the first homestay that felt to me like a "proper" homestay. Great food, friendly and discrete hospitality, beautifully clean, all within wonderful surroundings. The family is very busy and yet manages to deliver great service with just the right level of attentiveness. What a great place. Basically, everything was perfect.

The location is great but bear in mind it is 20 minute taxi from town when you first arrive probably

Amazing view, good food, friendly hosts

This was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. It had an amazing view from the common patio area. You could see far into the distance West Sikkim. The food was amazing and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The afternoon snacks were a nice bonus. There are trails (shortcuts) nearby. I took an amazing trek one day to Buddha Park. The trek was beautiful along the way. It wasn't easy for me but I very much appreciated the exercise and challenge of getting there. I hope to come back and stay here again!

Very hospitable place to relax, and stay and peaceful serene atmosphere

Very quiet, peaceful, hospitable place, beautiful location (despite some distance from the town). Friendly people, delicious food. Very comfortable clean rooms.

This place located on the some distance from the town. To get there you have to walk or order the taxi. There is no wi-fi. But that is okay if you m want really enjoy the nature, relax and to rest of all these habitual urban things

Phenomenal

The views were absolutely unbelievable. The host family was kind and generous. Dinner and breakfast were beautiful, and our stay was very peaceful. Also, there was a family of kittens on the property!

Worst place ever, folks never choose this homestay (believe me)

Pros- The people were well behaved and kept a nice communication. Bed lines were clean unlike other homestays.

Everything. Cons- Location :The location of this homestay is 9 kms away from the center. The car had to go down to a great level to get to this place. Punctuality: we had called them an hour before the visit and yet they were not ready with the food in time, they further delayed the evening snacks. Such was the welcome. Food: not that great. I had acid reflux after eating at this place. Suffered the whole of the next day. Room quality: again not the best. This area has power cut and hence we couldn't even charge our phones. There is an emergency Light which barely kept.us away from.the darkness. Washroom felt filthy. Price: for such a Location and quality of stay they shouldn't charge 3400 per night which I felt was quite high. Reviews: The owner wanted us to give them good feedbacks while we were leaving.Then I came to know how he had been collecting positive feedbacks.

Quaint, quiet place, with great hosts

It was a great little place....peaceful, with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. From blankets to towels to bedsheets, everything was clean and hygenic. The room was really great, and so was the home cooked meal. They arranged for us to have breakfast outside...overlooking the valley...and made sure we were absolutely comfortable in the one night we spent here. Might take you a while to reach here...but the road is smooth, and once you do reach...it's awesome. Away from any noise....you can go out on a walk along the quiet road and feel at peace. The people at this homestay are warm, and kind, and helpful. All in all, would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful & friendly homestay, with amazing homemade food!

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay in the valley below Ravangla town. The host family were all very welcoming and friendly. And the food was just superb - breakfast and dinner- all freshly cooked, all made with ingredients grown by the hosts themselves. We had a bonfire one night, accompanied by their homemade blueberry wine. They were also helpful with guidance on how to walk to Ravangla from the homestay via the shortcuts, and also on directions for walking to Maenam peak, and on going to the Borong hot spring. And the room itself was spacious and well appointed. Highly recommended as a peaceful retreat in the Sikkim foothills of the Himalayas.
