We walked into the room and it was 55 degrees, set to heat. The heater was broken and only blew out ice cold air. Unfortunately the outside temp was in the 50s bc it was December. When we informed the staff, they said theyd send someone to fix it. They didnt, and the hotel didnt seem to care as they didnt offer a room change, or even so much as a blanket to keep my 4 and 11 year old warm at night. When we let them know it was still in the 50s in our room, they told us they would credit us one days resort fee, which was around $35. I told them I didnt think that was fair considering wed been freezing for 3 days, so they said theyd give us 2 nights resort fee credit. When checking out, they had credited us two nights parking fees which totaled $44. Had to once again speak with the front desk bc not only did they not credit us a reasonable amount but they didnt even honor the unreasonable amount they had agreed to the night before.
Also, they advertise a free shuttle service to Disney that runs every hour. But youre not permitted to book a time until check in which is at 4pm. So if youre going to Disney the next day, more than likely the early times on the shuttle will be booked. So if you want to do rope drop, you wont make it one time. It was booked for our entire trip so we didnt get to use it at all. We had to pay $40 for an Uber each morning.
