A small and pleasant hotel in the heart of Kumkap. The place is clean, the staff is very polite and caring towards their customers. The area is relatively good for a walk in the historical part of the city. Thanks to Veli who was very kind and responsive!

Grand Bazaar and a tram stop are very close, but note that the area is hilly and it will take quite a bit of effort to climb.

First of all, I would like to highlight the owner of the hotel - Veli. I have never seen such hospitality and desire to help its guests in any hotel. There is a Turkish ice cream shop near the hotel. Veli treated us to ice cream for free. He also helped us carry our suitcases to our room and asked if we needed anything else. The room was very clean with excellent working air conditioning and internet. If we come to Istanbul again, we will definitely return to this hotel.

Sound insulation could have been better.

Excellent location, close to the sea and main historical places, right in the heart of Istanbul. Veli, the owner, is amazing - he treats the guests as his family and will do everything to accommodate and make it an enjoyable stay. I recommend Wena hotel for this reason: you'll experience warm, caring treatment and will feel like this is your family.

Veli was an amazing host! He was very kind and helpful; he made a great recommendation for a Hammam and transportation from the hotel to our airport. He was also very sweet as I was there over my birthday - he got an amazing cake, wrote me a note, and there was a small band singing. We booked a room that had three beds with a view of the sea. Very spacious! The beds are firm but the room was clean and nicely appointed. As far as location, the place was within walking distance to most of the things we wanted to do and to a tram stop that got us to the other places we needed. As a woman traveling with another woman, we felt very safe in this area and with Veli.

FELT LIKE HOME FROM HOME Veli, the manager, did everything in HIS power to make us feel welcome and at home. Nice talk

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING Veli, the manager was the kindest, most helpful, concerning and professional host. EVER. He alone made our stay unique. In addition to really nice people in the neighbourhood. Friendliness. Ancient area; Kumkapi with fish-restaurants. Good beds. Clean room. Great A/C and the nicest view over the Adriatic Sea from the upper room.

As disabled first staircase is narrow and dor some reason the fridges didnt work... no problem though since kiosks with cold water is just outside the door

Amazing experience 100% recommend

The accomodation was amazing. The host is the best host I have meet, we became friends during the trip, o lovely man who knows how to treat the guests and makes sure that everyone is feeling good, relaxed and happy coming to his hotel. I can't describe in words how nice the experience was, and in the future I will come back here for sure!
