Location and hotel vibes

Very poor breakfast and didn't change for 5 days. Long walk in corridors to get to the room as the hotel is comprised of several interconnected buildings

Friendly people but far away from the 5 star treatment we have experienced in other hotels.

In room technology allthough the WiFi connection sometimes struggles,

Breakfast is a real disaster for someone from the continent. There is no choice of bread except for a few croissants you have to specifically ask for. Coffee comes when you are half-way your breakfast and you get the menu explained multiple times because the staff is not following any kind of process but act very individually. Really not a 5-star experience they pretend to offer.

Cozy and yet in heart of everything!

The room was beautiful with an incredible view of off the terrace. We were thankful for the 12:00 pm check out time because good luck trying to get out of bed early - they are much too cozy! Staff was awesome and so accommodating! Overall the hotel was beautiful, fabulous lighting, smelled amazing, quirky cool decor, and just wonderful.

The location was spot on, on the Royal Mile. It was spotless and roomy. The concierge was VERY helpful. We had a castle view The room had everything we needed Dressing Robes, Slippers, iron & ironing board Separate toilet to shower room, a separate dressing area with vanity area with a door that separated it from the bedroom,which was great. Mini bar tea and coffee and tunnocks chocolate bar each day. Loved the library area where you could sit for a coffee.

Music can go on very late, but we appreciated where we were location wise. Breakfast was very busy, so there was a little wait for a table, and both my husband and I had to sit on the cushions as the chairs were quite low for the table.
