The Windsor Trooper Pub & Inn offers a large outside area and various inside spaces with a good selection of real ciders and ales. The food is highly praised, with artisan food options available. The (Read More) pub is quiet early on, making it great for groups or a quiet drink. Entertainment options include live music acts. The staff are friendly and accommodating, with excellent service. Visitors also appreciate the option to sit in the sun trap garden with coffee from a nearby vendor.

Superb

Lovely stay!

The pub was extremely welcoming because of the lovely staff. We stayed with a 6 month old and was our first trip away celebrating. The food trucks (pizza one was incredible- so much so that my husband went back for a second!) at the pub made it feel special still as we could take food back to the room and we were even able to grab a quick pint before getting baby to bed!

Nothing that we didnt like. Rooms were basic but had all the necessities were there. Heating did turn off half way through the night and was very cold temp! Sure we would have been fine but noticed cos of having the baby with us.

Good

Lovely staff member, good size room and clean, shame about the beds.

The member of staff who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Give us great advice regarding parking and where to eat etc. Nice size room, warm, well lite and clean.

The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. Wed booked to stay as we were visiting Lapland U.K. the next morning and we didnt have very good sleep.

Fabulous, really great place to stay with my friends

The room was beautiful and clean , very comfortable too . The pub is so close to town for everything in Windsor.

The beer garden was busy but the noise was done by 11.

Pleasant, friendly, family run hotel, clean and a bit different (being attached to a pub).

Staff were extremely friendly. We were also lucky to arrive on a Monday, which is a Thai food day (they have outside caterers come in to prepare the various themes, which we found a great idea) and the Thai menu was, if a little limited (all the same , better to do a little, well, rather than a lot, badly!), extremely good.

The entrance door, which is direct onto the street, does not always close automatically - some people just walk out and leave the door to close by itself, which it doesn't always do, so a potential security risk there. The room was on the first floor, so we could hear people coming and going. However, as it was Winter, there was little to no noise from the ex-car park, now beer garden. A shame that breakfast is not offered as an option

Very good

A nice stay

The greeting was lovely, and although a little early, we could check in,which we were very grateful .The rooms we spotless and the bed were far more comfortable than I thought as you could feel the shape of the springs ! Would definitely stay here again if this area.

One room was massive but upstairs, which we didn't know, and the other room was quite small,so those in that room were cramped, but for 1 night, it wasn't a major issue.

Very enjoyable stay in a great location .The staff were excellent ,nothing was too much trouble .Would highly recommend this hotel ,short pleasant welk into Windsor

Electrical adaptor in the room was very loose from the wall.
