Horrible beds, good location, lack of amenities.

Location, and its Bar!

A lot of other things. Not well maintained, very old, the bed was extremely discomfortable, the room smelled like cigarettes, bathroom and shower very old and rusty.

Poor

Once a great hotel... But a Makeover is long overdue...No longer should have 5 star status.

The Historic Building is extremely awe inspiring and full of history and I am sure it has had its heyday in the past, but unfortunately I do not think that is worthy of still being a 5 Star Hotel This was my second visit to this hotel,7 years ago, it was in much better shape.

I feel that the hotel has lost al lot of its charm, obviously due to the Covid situation, I believe the Hotel was closed for a long time and it has become tired and rather dirty, I understand they are planning to refurbish the entire hotel, which I would say, could bring it back to its former glory... But I think it is losing ground against its competitors. The makeover is well overdue !!! in my case, I actually cancelled my reservation on the spot, after seeing the state of the room they sold me.
