Luxury, relaxing, first class stay

Staff are very efficient, professional and accommodating from the moment you step out of your car. We availed of the valet parking service and they were very welcoming and friendly. The gallery is relaxing for an afternoon drink with a lovely atmosphere and the location is very central to the shopping area. We dined in the restaurant and the food and service was top quality.

We called through to reception to arrange parking and we were told to pull up outside. When we arrived at the Hotel the Valet told us the car park was full and to park in another car park that from a traffic stand point would mean another 30 mis to get back to the Hotel. The Valet, seeing that we were somewhat perturbed that we had just called the Hotel for parking said that reservations should not have told us this and "offered" to take our bags! Our room was not ready by 4pm? We had a mouse in the skirting board! We came down for breakfast the following morning to be told that there was no room in the restaurant and could we use the foyer. The waitress did not ask us if we wanted any condiments or toast with breafast. We had no knife or fork. The couple beside had their breakfast delivered cold. All in all, it is an outrage to call this a 5 star Hotel with such appalling service delivery
