Very good

Comfortable stay in Auckland's CBD

The hotel is in a great location with regard to part of the University of Auckland and the city center. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was very clean. We appreciated the washing machine.

One bed room can only be closed off with sliding doors, hence privacy is a bit impaired (consider this when you are traveling as two couples). Elevators are currently being updated and hence it might take a bit more time to go up or down (although this did not really affect us negatively).

Disappointing

If stay somewhere else.

The view was nice, bed was comfy, and buffet breakfast was nice.

The room smelt like musty old cabbage. The shower wouldn't stay in the upright position, was broken before we arrived I had to tighten the screws myself. In the morning there was no cold water so we both scolded ourselves in the shower. And weren't able to flush the toilet. Had to full the cistern manually with hot water to flush. When I called concierge I was told I wasn't the only one and then got hung up on while I was still talking so didn't get a chance to talk about the nasty smell that had been there since we arrived. Was down the hallway also. Only had videos of the water and one photo of broke shower.

Just the worst night in NZ.

Only good thing about this place is location.

Reception team was everything but welcoming. After a very stressed out welcoming, they gave us an unrequested upgrade, that seemed exactly as what we have booked in the first place only that everything was falling apart. Curtain rail felt down when we opened it. Tiles in the bathroom were broken, every shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc container had exactly the same cleaning liquid in side. the sliding door in the bedroom was also broken so we couldn't close it. Didn't dare to touch anything else. More than an upgrade, felt like a downgrade.

Disappointing

Pantry and bathroom need upgrading

We rented a 2 bedroom unit. The rooms appeared to be newly renovated, however the bathroom/toilet and pantry are old. The table lamps have power point n USB charging points which are really useful/handy. Our unit has a good view of the harbour.

The coil in the kettle was rusty, the living room is small for 4 persons to move around without knocking into each other. The pantry area really needs a facelift/renovation as the things are old n appeared well used. The mugs are old and have lines of cracks in the mugs caused by long use. The bathroom/toilet area and the sink are very small. There is no place to put toiletries while we washed our faces, we had to put them on the toilet seat cover.
