Enjoyed the accommodation staff could be more friendly and breakfast needs to be sorted

The breakfast was very disappointing we were first in the restaurant because we had to go on a tour food was warm and ordinary i arrived 10 mins early and was bluntly told no I could not sit at a table and wait for my friends or even have a coffee

I think generally the staff could be much more friendly. My friends were American visitors and they had a very poor experience trying to get lunch found the staff rude and ignoring them which is not what you would expect from a top level hotel

Wonderful Southbank stay

It was a lovely property- magnificent entrance. Staff were friendly, extremely polite and attentive. The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was exceptional - great choice of options

The hotel staff are very courteous and indeed very helpful. We misplaced a few personal clothes for the children, and they kept for us. The beds are very comfortable and clean rooms. The location by the river is really nice.

The hotel is a bit old and need modernization especially power sockets, no USB port in the rooms.

Disappointing

The property is in a great location and has a really nice main entry

The cleanness was really poor. Our room was still dirty with chewing gum stuck around the bottom of the toilet along with urine and foil paper from chocolates all over the floor near the couch. We requested a baby cot when booking the room and confirmed it during check in. When we checked into the room at 3:30pm after waiting for it to be cleaned and handed over. When we got to the room there was no baby cot. I then called the front desk asking where it was so my 1 year old could have a nap. The staff said they would send it straight up! He ended up having to sleep on the couch due to the staff taking 3 hours to get the cot out room. When it finally arrived the staff told me that they sent all their staff home early and are now understaffed. Shouldnt the hotel management know how many staff are required for the current hotel capacity? Very poor management and very disappointing.
