If you are ok with unresolved billing errors, this is the place for you.

The hotel is gorgeous with traditional furnishings. The gym was outstanding.

I have been charged 2x for my visit. I have been told multiple times that a credit would be issued to my card. It has been over a month and the hotel staff still has not resolved this issue. I will now dispute this with my credit card company. All the pleasant memories I might have had from a visit to this hotel have been wiped away because I was dealing with this during my stay and still trying to resolve long after my visit.

Very nice location but without the basic shower hot water

Great hotel complex with a number of restaurants, bars and stores

Very little if any hot water in the shower ; despite notifying the reception desk, no feedback / remedy action whatsoever was provided and the problem was not fixed.

An oasis in Kathmandu. Pure luxury with a taste of old Nepal

A secret oasis behind beautiful wooden doors. A calming retreat from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Nothing too much trouble for all staff members. Our room no 406 was total luxury. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Disappointing

An overpriced pretentious hotel which plays on its salvaged architectural history.

Quiet hotel.

My rate $322 or 258 or Rs 42,825 did not include breakfast. A quiet hotel, apart from private function in evening which changed the calm atmosphere in the courtyard. Japanese and Napalese restaurants were very very quiet,I saw two table taken between both restaurants. The Krishnarpan deluxe restaurant was busy. I was told that I was unable to dine there are I had not made an advanced booking prior to my arrival. However, the restaurant fitted me in, although a pleasant Nepalese meal, I felt it was over priced at 60 per head ( about 3 times the cost of similar meals taken in Kathmandu). Staff generally helpful, but always left with impression of insincerity. Lacked my other experience of Nepalese enthusiasm and hospitality.
