Decent cheap dig

-Good location (relatively close to metro and bus station, various Asian restaurants and a night market nearby) -Cheap (for HK standards) -Reasonably quiet (except for the odd street and neighbor construction noise) -Staff is helpful

-Environment (the building is old and the walls are peeling off, many seedy looking characters and hookers roaming around, similar feel to Chunking Mansions) -Staff is helpful, but somewhat uninterested and not very welcoming -No decent common area where people could sit, relax, hang around, meet other travelers (this is quite important for a hostel)

Stay only if it's the last option, otherwise don't stay it in any condition.

The staff was accomodating but only when present most of the time staff was not present.

The rooms and toilet is too bad. The door of toilet doesn't even have a hook to close. The upper beds don't have curtains, the electrical boards are not there, no place to keep bags or anything for that matter, some people would just leave them outside the room.

Amazing location, friendly staff, could use a slightly more comfortable mattress. For the location Id say its worth r

Best location, very central, very easy to find and perfectly placed close to so many hot spots. Felt very safe, the facility was in a safe and secure place and not once did I feel at risk.

The bed was rock hard, they could do with a simple sponge mattress, it would make a world of a difference. The space is small but theres no changing that, thats Hong Kong.

Only if you are on the budget

The location is great.

Very tiny room and bathroom. Really not good for 6 people. I checked in quite late (around 11.30 pm) and I tried to pay by card. Despite having a card machine in front of him, the staff (who didn't really look like he wants to be there) sent me outside to withdraw money and refused to take card payment. Interestingly, the girl who checked in the next day was able to pay by card.

Clean bathrooms and bed sheets.

We Reserved 12m2 room with windows and bathtub. We got 6m2 cramp and super dark room without windows nor bathtub of course. Typical HK. It's super unfair that on website they show you beautiful pics, while the truth is completely different and disappointing.

The most challenging paid experience I have in the world travel

Location and the price

The toilet is 1 meter square with shower head above toilet seat, to take shower. There were 6 beds in 2 sets bunk setting in 2 meter square smallest room I have seen. My legs came out of bed, I am about 180cm tall. WiFi didnt work, building has no ventilation and absolutely labour dump. No services provided, I paid $15 for a night so I might not be able to expect much but this was completely bad experience.

everything is beyond expectation. Staff were kind. Location is very convenient. Fortunately, the roommates who I met were friendly. The best choice for those who concern the budget.

central location, the girls at reception are nice

!!! the owner/manager (or whatever he is) forces you to pay in cash even if you arrived late in the night and disregarding the fact that the payment method selected is by card. he will tell you the card reader isn't working when in fact it is and forces you to go and withdraw money. really nasty and rude guy, by the way he speaks and treats customers !!! the room is small, cramped with 6 beds. there is no space for luggage storage. bathroom is small. in case you don't have a towel, you can get one from the property but have to pay 10 HK dollars. a bit difficult to find the entrance of the building and the right elevator to get you first to the reception, and then to the room.
