Horrible smell, no parking, the amount of straits was not disclosed so our friend (just came from an operation) was unab

Its in Bantry Bay

1) Upon arrival, we discovered that there was no parking available at the property. After searching for the information to see if it was mentioned in the property description, I noticed it was only visible and mentioned in the property policy which is not something that (on my opinion) is clear from the get-go prior the booking. Parking is a very important aspect / booking requirement as most people travel to their destinations by car (especially local people) 2) Eventually when we managed to find a parking spot, we waited for almost an hour to be checked in after we arrived at the accommodation because there was only 1 contact number to phone, and there was no answer despite numerous attempts from myself, my husband and our friend. 3) Upon Check in, there was 4 flights of stairs (close to 100 steps if I had to take a guess), which was propbably the biggest challenge and problem for us with this property. Our friend had just went for an operation and being on dialysis, he is medically unable to walk up and down the stairs. This information was withheld from the property description, which again I would imagine is an important aspect to highlight prior to making the booking. There are also no hand rails. 4) Upon entering the apartment, the entire place smelled horrible - Im putting it as it is, it smelled like sex, drugs, alcohol and sweat! It was unbelievably unpleasant. The sliding door that leads to the balcony also couldnt close properly and could not lock. Im sure if we spent some more time we would have found more discrepancies. However, we immediately knew that this is not the place we had in mind and it was not suitable for us and our friend to live there. Before we left, we attempted to resolve the matter with Booking.com and the property management company, Propr but they were unwilling to understand or to assist us in the cancellation.

Such a lovely stay in a beautiful spot with spectacular views. Rooms are lovely and comfortable and our view had an awesome view and lovely balcony. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was also super.

Breakfast was amazing. View from breakfast tables overlooking the ocean is really lovely.

Our Room was at the back with no view. Building scaffolding material outside our sliding door. Building scaffolding view as you arrive at entrance not great. But inside is lovely around the bar / lounge area. View from tables and patio is incredible. Could have got a better rate booking direct. Staff are really lovely.
