The Cassara Carlsbad offers a pleasant stay with well-kept rooms and easy check-in. The hotel is conveniently located near Legoland and the 5 freeway, with great amenities for kids. The breakfast in (Read More)the lobby is tasty but can get busy. The staff is friendly and parking is easy. However, one reviewer did not like the motion detectors in the bathroom that turn on the lights. Overall, guests appreciate the helpful staff, clean rooms, and convenient location near attractions.

Location was near Legoland and the Carlsbad Premium Outlet.

I was charged USD100 per night for deposit which I was not informed of. They also have a USD20 resort fee per day and parking charges. Room was dated, bathroom was so dark with only one light at the sink area. We had to call the front desk to request for house keeping to be done. The breakfast area was small. The first time we went for breakfast, there was a long queue at the counter and no available seats. We had to get our own table and waited 45 minutes for food to be served. Fortunately, the food was good.

Great location and very comfortable room.

Very comfortable room and good customer service. Let down by charging for parking.

Disappointed after checking out and looking at my bill to find I had been charged for parking. Not good attention to detail as I did not have a car. No-one had asked or checked.

Pretty but uncomfortable

The staff was friendly, overall the place was clean

Bed was uncomfortable, woke up with really bad back pain, overall very sore. 46$ surcharge for parking with no warning, was told I was being charged 100 for deposit but charged 100 and then 46 Breakfast wasnt worth what I was charged

Really leaves a bad taste to be immediately informed of several upcharges right at check in.

The pool was nice. The room was clean and in good condition.

Getting upcharged for things like parking and "activities," whatever that means. Being forced to turn over private information and data access and join the Hilton cult in order to access free wifi and then the signal was poor after all that. The restaurant was kind of mind-bogglingly disorganized. HVAC was really loud and woke me up several times a night.

Beautiful hotel, and location over looking the ocean. Peaceful escape for a short weekend getaway.

Loved the overall esthetic of the hotel, lobby, and beautiful outdoor pool area. We were greeted with excellent customer service from just about all points of contract through out our short stay.
