Clean but not convenient hotel to stay

Proximity to Vatican City

Booked a room from Priceline for 2 adults and 2 kids. Paid extra for 4 (2+2) when booking. Was informed the following morning after arrival that the hotel received the request for only 2 adults and that I will need to pay an extra 60 euros for having additional 2 kids. Room remained the same. Got 2 additional blankets for 60 Euros extra. We could clearly see the room price was less online and the price during the reservation included additional members charge, but since the booking.com reported as 2 people, we had to pay twice.

Very Clean , everyday cleaning, silent noise proof room, excellent location to live near monuments and metro , new modern decoration, amazing view, comfy bed.

No bath robs, no sleepers, small bathroom, shower pressure not good enough. Elevator was very small to go up to the 6th floor with baggages, no coffee maker in the room just a boiler pot with only two coffee sticks. TV channels all in Italian language not able to watch other languages. Amateur staff not very helpful but ok. Value for money ? Not exactly. Bit expensive.

room was big and bright. staff at reception was very friendly and very helpful. location excellent.

there was a terrible smell in the room. it was coming from A/C and eventough we shared our feedback, they couldnt fix it.
