The Bartizan Galle Fort is a unique boutique hotel located inside Galle Fort. The staff is friendly and focused on providing a good customer experience. The breakfast menu needs improvement and guest (Read More)s wish there were more options for dinner and lunch. Additionally, some guests commented on the need for more powerful air conditioning. However, the hotel is comfortable and offers great rooms with well-designed interiors. The location is excellent, surrounded by quaint streets, cafes, and stores. The service is exceptional and the overall experience highly recommended.

Charming and comfy historical boutique hotel - perfect for a couple days of exploring Galle Fort.

Location couldn't have been better. Right on Rampart street (although street address is officially Pedlar Street) with a view of the sea over the fort wall. The fort is not that large so everything very walkable with a wide variety of restaurants, boutiques and historical landmarks all within the vicinity. The property itself was charming and our room was quite large with a lounging nook. The bed and bedding were comfy. Generous breakfast options (western and local) that needed to be ordered a day in advance and could be taken on the upper floor balconies or in the courtyard.

Rooms are a bit dim with lots of design, mood lighting, but fine. Closet interiors could be refreshed (to be on par with the rest of the room)

Stunning hotel in the old fort of Galle

Stunnign hotel in the beautiful town of Galle. Excellent location with views of the ocean. Delicious breakfast served to our balcony. Attentive staff. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Galle hotel with sea view

We stayed in the tower room which had a lovely view of the sea from the balcony. The reception area is also very nice. Good breakfast.

Our room was a little bit small.

Superb

Stunning ocean view, staff went above and beyond for us, couldn't recommend more.

Room, food, staff, and service were all incredible. The view from our terrace was picturesque. Staff were incredibly accommodating for our travel plans and held our bags for the whole day, and offered to let us shower and freshen up before we left for Colombo. The king coconut and lime welcome drink was the best drink I had the whole trip.

Lovely overall.

The staff, breakfast and overall feel of the hotel were good.

The courtyard room I booked had very little light/privacy and the noise from the bathroom and courtyard on the doorstep was quite intrusive. I would definately book a different room next time.

Disappointing

Review

The view from the terrace was great, the breakfast was good

Coffee/tea/sugar in room all stuck in packaging like it got wet, the book in the room says there is room service, when called they said no room service and put the phone down, no water in room. Stayed in many places during 3 weeks in sri lanka and this was the poorest service we experienced
