Poor

The facility smelled like pets the elevator definitely carried an order. The whole building needs renovations. The bed was so uncomfortable. The toilet was super low. But it did have great hot water. Ghe staff was nice though. I probably would not book again unless renovations are done

Disappointing

It was disappointing, but the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind.

The location, the staff, the exercise room, the quiet.

Not clean, insects in the bathroom, no breakfast, microwave didnt work.

Not what we expected

Check in was fine.

The building was old, the room had marks on the walls, carpet torn, basically rundown. We had to ask for towels.

Nice people but a huge letdown due to the strong pet/mildew/smoke odor and bug infestation in room.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. When we had an issue with our room it was quickly handled and the staff agreed to refund us our paid amount. Aside from that, the hotel is in a good area, close to lots of shopping and food, and close to the UTK campus, had it even been remotely clean, we would have stayed here multiple times to visit our daughter.

We are non smokers and prefer to stay in rooms that do not allow pets so our review is somewhat based on those factors. The halls are pretty dimly lit and as we walked to the elevator, we noticed gym equipment that was taped off with yellow tape. That was red flag number 1. When we got to our floor, the main hallway had a strong cigarette smoke odor. That was red flag number 2. When we got into our room, at first glance the bathroom was spacious and the room was neat. The cabinets looked relatively new and redesigned. What soured the eye test was the smell of wet carpet mixed with pet odor. It had a strong mildew smell to it. The refrigerator was full size which was nice but it looked like it had sat in someone's garage for 20+ years before they put it in the room. When I went to set my keys to the room down, bugs scattered everywhere, those last things prompted us to grab out things and request a refund. It simply looked like there was some money put into redesigning the cabinets when in reality there needs to be a lot of work done to bring this up to what we paid for it.

Disgusting!

The layout of the suite was well thought out.

Hairs all over the toilet seat. Hairs on the blanket. Promised to get a new blanket, did not. A bugger on the coffee pot. Food drippings on furniture. Not clean! Mold in first room before we asked to move.
