Amazing place to stay right in the heart of the city

The room was quite spacious, neat and clean. The location of the hotel is great and most of the attractions are at walking distance. The hotel staff is very polite and courteous especially David who provided us with excellent recommendations for vegetarian restaurants.

Though not that bad but for a five start hotel I would expect a little bit more elaborate breakfast spread.

Location perfect, Cleaning is good, always somebody available at front desk, very near to shopping areas

I made a booking for Sonder Barcelona from November 27th to December 2nd. Upon entering the room, I noticed that there was no window, and as I have a fear of small spaces without access to fresh air, I couldn't stay there. On the same day as my check-in, I approached the reception to inquire about a room change. Mirela at the reception informed me that there was another room available, but I had the option to move the next day and stay there until December 2nd, or move on the same day and again on December 1st. Since it was already the evening of my first day and I was tired, I chose the first option. During the room move, Rodrigo from the reception sent me a text, stating, "Under your responsibility, we are going to make this last exception for you." I was confused about how many exceptions had already been made for me. On December 1st, during the day while I was out sightseeing, they messaged me on WhatsApp, stating that I had to move rooms again, and they couldn't accommodate me for the last night. I explained the situation and the promise given by Mirela, but Rodrigo insisted that he had to move me, and there was nothing he could do. In the end, I was promised by Mirela's colleague, and at the very least, they should have informed me the day before about this situation so that I could prepare my luggage in advance. Since it was my last day, I had to cancel my plans because of this last-minute change. They sent me an email the night before, claiming it was their excuse, but they need to understand that if something is verbally confirmed, I assume it is confirmed, even without a system-generated email. Despite the hotel's good location, cleanliness and overall quality as a product, I am upset with the approach by few staff.

Very good

Overall, great stay with the exception of a problem that was ultimately fixed.

Great property - nice restaurant. Big rooms. Very clean.

My original room was in the rear of the building with a large balcony. Impressive room. However, the door to the balcony did not lock. The person in staff was very difficult about arranging an alternative room for me.

it was right in the center,everywhere we wanted to go was walking distance, perfect if the purpose of your trip is shopping. very close to a few restaurants too the rooms were not giving 5 star rooms but they were very clean and simple the staff was so nice and made me feel so special on my birthday the rooms were warm
