Magical lake lucern with beautiful view from pool

Spa was nice. Lake is gorgeous.

Room was very hot and pillows uncomfortable. One staff on restaurant was not friendly while the other was.

All about the view - from the room and the pool - stunning.

Stunning views from our room across the lake. Loved waking up to that view. Outdoor heated pool with a lake/mountain view was special as well. Ate in the restaurant one night - the food was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Car parking spaces were very small.

Excellent hotel, amazing location, would visit again.

The hotel has an amazing location, right next to Lake Lucerne and 10 minute walk from Weggis ferry stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room with private bathroom were very clean. The view from the room and balcony was amazing. The swimming pools were great, especially the outdoor pool with the stunning view.

It got a little hot in the room during the night, but a fan was available to use. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been a good addition.

The room has a good dimension and the pool is really nice, too bad that every lounger is facing the parking and next to the alexander hotel that really is a building stuck in the 70ies. The personnel was nice and tried to help

The airco is missing from all the establishment, we had to ask for a fan because the nights were unbearable... the building has a pretty outdated decor and style. Rooms with 'lake view' on the ground floor are kind of a scam since you own't see the lake but only the parking, since there are bushes in front of the lake .. you have a little patio in front of you room but that's literally shared with the whole hotel and without any shade during the day, essentially we never used it. Breakfast is various and ok, but the food/plates remained uncleaned on the table for so long that the whole front space was full of birds eating out of leftovers and wasps annoying the hell out of any guest ...
