This is not a hotel, "sea facing beach resort" is an aggregator. its a scam, they give room randomly

location was good for the ANUTRI BEACH RESORT where we were made to check in. SEA FACING BEACH RESORT doesnt exist, its a hoax and just a "middle man" aggregator. Stay away!

Let me first clarify, this is not a hotel, "sea facing beach resort" is an aggregator. its a scam, they give room randomly wherever they find. Listing such "hoax properties" gives a bad name to the accountability of booking.com. Firstly they took whole payment on the day of booking in contrast to the terms and conditions of booking.com. We paid 100% advance on the day of booking which we were told was non refundable. We did the payment cause we were told that otherwise they would cancel and not honor our booking with booking.com When we reached mandarmani, we were made to check in at ANUTRI BEACH RESORT. The hotel number listed at booking.com merely sent a google map location to check in. When we called them and told them that we will complaint to booking.com, they cancelled our booking from their side on booking.com saying invalid credit card excuse. My credit card with booking.com in working fully and since mine was already 100% prepaid. Any one can check on google the room rates of ANUTRI BEACH RESORT, which is much lower than the INR 7500 per night which we paid. We completed our 3 nights stay at ANUTRI BEACH RESORT. The hotel staff was courteous, food was good, cleanliness left lots to be desired

Would stay again just for the view from the room and food.

We stayed for two nights in this property just after Durga Pujo. It was a bit overpriced but as we booked last minute it seemed ok. The food was exceptionally good. Breakfast was decent with good options. They did provide two different options on the separate days. However, desert selection was missing. We really loved the rooms and the view of the sea. We had booked three rooms for 7 people. Room 205 had the best view. The rooms very spacious and nice. Air conditioning was great provided it was unusually warm for October. The gardens are nice. Pool is also nice. The shack provides great option for snacks in the evening. Overall experience was pleasant.

What I had an issue with was the cleanliness of the place. The resort was moderately clean but could be far better. Room service was sloppy. We asked for extra glasses but got refused initially and then they provided them. The gate leading up to the beach did not open till 7am which was inconvenient, and the front of the gate is filled with all kinds of rubbish which was definitely a deal breaker.
