the hotel is already past its glory days. the bathroom, especially the shower/bathtub, was very neglected.

Nice big room with a balcony overlooking the pool, great location for getting to all the main sites Good size pool

Little bit dated would imagine it was top end in its day felt a little like a conference hotel Would stay again though as good location and clean

Disappointing. Not a reflection on the warm and friendly people we encountered throughout Thailand.

Ants in the room. Swimming pool was too murkey. Advice given by staff was poor. We were after somewhere to eat with our children and they advised us to go to the Kho San Road - notorious for drugs and drink. Enquired about the possibility of late checkout and was told categorically no - even though there were plenty of equivalent rooms free for the following night. Poor overall experience.

Old but clean with renovated bathroom

Location was not bad. If you don't want to talk a taxi all the way from the airport, take the train until theast stop Phaya Thai (90) and then taxi (it was about 80 if I'm not mistaken). It was in fact faster than taking a taxi from the airport due to the traffic. It's an old hotel but but clean and some parts are renovated like the bathroom. We didn't eat there so I can't comment. Local market is a walking distance away so you can buy local food, fruits etc. The hotel offers trips but if you are looking at prices then choose booking by yourself using TripAdvisor or GetYourGuide. Our shower drain was over floating and dispute very late hour someone came to fix it. They are extremely nice.

Breakfast buffet started early and it had a good variety

The Staff at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. When we were checking in, I asked some questions and the lady didnt answer but started talking Thai to her coworkers. So rude. Low standards. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room was ok size but so dated. No outlets by the bed. The bathroom was awful, the carpet was stained and the beds were like sleeping on plywood. The hotel rooms were equivalent to ones at motel 6 in the middle of nowhere in the states. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. We stayed at 328.
