Perfect location for dog walks and people who really arent expecting a decent stay.

The location of the property was perfect. We enjoyed walks to local pubs and across the fields over the holiday.

The property was understaffed. There was one woman running the show and all credit to her where it is due, but she should never have been left to do it all. Queuing for breakfast in the morning, nothing restocked, eating in the mess that everyone else had left as she just couldnt do it on her own. Spa facilities are out of date and the staff in the spa were extremely unhelpful. Our relaxing day was ruined by the lack of knowledge and staff in the spa. 120/- for a bit of mud and a chamber that didnt even work. It was ridiculous.

Pleasant

Stay was pleasant, but not sure we would stay there again.

The spa area was good, clean and not too busy. Location to Cambridge was good. Bar area was comfortable.

The room bed pillows were so lumpy so ended up using a chair cushion! Breakfast service was slow due to the lack of staff on duty that was such a shame.

Lovely welcome..

The welcome was great. The receptionist and the porters were excellent. Helped us to our rooms with the bags. After a long trip, this was indeed welcomed . The room. Was a great size alongside a good-sized bathroom.. The sauna and steam facilities were a lovely relaxed touch..The restaurants decor and ambience felt nice and relaxed. Great breakfast. Staff were great Nice escape if you don't want to be near the centre.

There was an issue with a staff restaurant member whilst having our evening meal. I must add, that this was brought to the management's attention and they dealt with this situation however, this should not have reached to this level of customer dissatisfaction if there were already red flags in an employees behavior who as we were told, normally has great reviews. No excuse. The spa employees need to be more focused on supplies. I had to ask for slippers, as they hadn't noticed the empty basket needed restocking. Similar situation with the water cups next to the machine. These were stocked but only after I requested a cup for water. Restaurant food quality needs to be line with the price commanded. A bit far from the main town. Centre.

The property was lovely, beautiful gardens. Really family friendly I felt.

Some staff at the bar looked a bit unbothered, like they really would have rather been somewhere else. The spa was nice but really needs a bit of an upgrade.

Pool, steam, sauna, hot tub. Food. Comfy bed and hot shower. Tea facilities.

Beer is expensive. 6.50 per pint. I thk staff should ask at breakfast...can I get u anythg else? There were18of us and we had to keep asking...more milk please,more coffee please and all kept getting up to get ketchup honey etcs thatcouldhave been already on thetable.

Lovely hotel and spa also family friendly

The hotel staff lovely bar staff brilliant. Really enjoyed the spa and the hot stone where really good too. The food is amazing. We didn't try restaurant food as we loved the bar menu so much. Was just as good as restaurant very beautiful.

Only thing that I was slightly annoyed about was we went as two couples with one child each paid the same price on the same booking both executive rooms. Yet unfortunately ours was no where near as nice as our friends room. They was in 106 I believe we was 403 they had high celling christmas tree double pull out a lovely coffee machine. And jets in there bath my room on the other hand was alot smaller single pull out just very basic. Considering we both paid the same price both executive room I feel we was just given basic.
