Perfect overnight stay with an extremely comfy bed!

We had an absolutely lovely overnight stay. The location was perfect. It suited us really well with the 24hr station parking very close by, along with many shops and pubs, and a voi e-scooter parking spot. The check in and out processes were extremely easy due to the system being very user friendly and we also really appreciated the reminders. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, and the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. The bathroom was also lovely and modern and the shower was great. We will definitely be back!

Great and would love to stay again

Comfiest bed ever!

We had to check in at about 6am instead of the planned evening the night before due to the English Channel strikes. We were stuck at the channel for 7 hours and as a result only arrived at the hotel at 6am after being up in the car all night. We were so exhausted. The hotel staff kindly extended our check out until midday free of charge but I would have really appreciated if they extended longer given that we paid the same price for a few hours rather than a full night's stay, especially as the circumstances were completely beyond our control. They were lovely though, so that was very much appreciated in our exhausted states!

We had a special night here. Thank you!

The staff were very friendly. They also upgraded us to a suite which was wonderful! Products in room were nice too. Bed was comfy. The balcony was brilliant and loved the big windows- with black out curtains.

Not so much what I didnt like but we forgot our charger and I was sad they didnt have a draw of them haha. Usually hotels always have loads of spares however, forgetting was entirely my fault and maybe I was expecting too much!

Disappointing

Ok, but used to be really great.

The hotel is close to the station and taxi rank so it is easy to get to the centre of town and drop luggage off. The decor of the hotel is great at Christmas.

They have got rid of an amazing gym and not this is really not special anymore. Also, the service in the restaurant as ok, but the breakfast offer is really poor the standard of hotel. The rooms were ok, but we happened to be there during a rail replacement day so had coaches outside the hotel from the early hours. The corridors needed a clean.

Provided most of our needs, and comfortable.

The size of room was good, furnishing were in good condition and excellent bathroom. Lovely man who came and put out TV on as we were too stupid to work it ourselves. It seemed over complex. We were able to check in early as room was ready, we would have been happy to store bags but this was bonus.

Lack of attention to detail such as we did not have a remote control for tv, hairdryer and one bed only had one pillow.we had to ask for these to be rectified (we did not bother about the pillow) but it showed lack of attention to detail. Didnt like that there was no shampoo and conditioner as I had forgotten to bring any. Soap dispenser which I was told would be ok for my hair! Was a distance from both sink and shower.
