Superb

Excellent stay in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz

We had a great stay in this small hotel for the NYE holidays. We prefer smaller hotels that provide a cozy environment and this was a perfect choice. Puerto Azul seems to be family&friends run, so you always get the feeling you are taken care of. Staff was super super nice, they even sent us daily suggestions for visiting, the room was clean, bed and pillows super confortable. The optional breakfast was very good as well. The hotel has an ahhh-mazing terrace with a lovely view. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (we liked El Pescador the most) and few supermarkets. Loro Parque is walking distance and there is also a very nice beach close to that. For all those reasons, we would highly recommend Puerto Azul.

A tiny suggestion to improve further the confort in the room would be to add few shelves to put clothes in. The number of hangers provided was generous, but few shelves would be a nice addition.

Great location, modern clean hotel.

The hotel is newly refurbished which was the main reason I chose it. The decor is lovely. No room key needed as they have digital key pads which is great as you dont need to carry a key or card. The reception team were very helpful and polite. (The guy who checked us in was very informative and friendly) The two cleaners were lovely and like a ray of happiness everyday. There were two beach towels on our bed for us to use during our stay which was a nice touch. We had breakfast all of the days bar one. It was very convenient and a nice range of food. The coffee machine is free to use anytime which is great. There is a lovely courtyard area to sit in (I used it to do work on my laptop) and then a sun terrace on the top floor which was red hot and ideal for sunbathing. Theres is Netflix on the tv which we used in the evenings. The location of the hotel is brilliant. It is close to everything you might need or want. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit Tenerife.

Our room was very small. The area of the room is clearly stated on the listing, I just didnt pay much attention to it, so its not the hotels fault. However, as the hotel is in such a central location, you dont usually get spacious rooms so it was a good compromise. We also had the Mountain View so we had sun on our little balcony most of the day.

Great location with helpful staffs! A hotel worthy for short stays

The spa pool on the roof with warm water and city view is great. It is located close to the city center but on the quite street. This hotel staffs are extremely friendly and helpful.

The bathroom cannot be fully closed. the door is stuck with the floor when you close it 2/3 The air-con could not be turned on for the first two days, however the staff helped us to get it fixed. These flaws did not really bother us but it is still imperfect.

Great hotel middel of the hart of Puerto de la Cruz nice rooftop views an lounge area and modern and sustainable setting

Only downside i could see in summer when temperature runs above 30 i think airco would be nice on the room as on the single room indid have there was none only a cool and modern fan that blows for me it was ok but i can image when temperature is high it will not do the job

Absolute gem of a hotel

Hotel was perfect. Modern, clean and great location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great roof terrace with jacuzzi to chill out after a day exploring Puerto de la cruz.

Air con wasn't working properly on 1st day in our room and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Spoke to reception on day 2, and they operated it manually from reception and from then it worked amazingly.

Very good

Perfect location, modern hotel on what is a good street to stay. Great value for money, would highly recommend!

Modern layout, the perfect location just a minute away from lovely restaurants and main attractions. Hot tub and terrace was lovely.

No air conditioning in room.

Great location - a lot of small restaurants and very very close to the city centre. You can also find free parking just 2 mins away from the hotel. The staff were super welcoming and friendly as well. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and overall great value for money. I would recommend staying at Puerto Azul

Superb

I most liked the amazing staff. She girl at the reception was super nice all the time and helped me with all my questions. I really appreciated that. The room is very small but it was city, clean and all facilities looked new. I loved that I didn't need to carry a key around as you open the doors with an individual pin. The view from the terasse is amazing. For parking I recommend the big parking lot at the beach. It's only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. I would definitely come again :)
