From our initial welcome to the final good yr, this hotel was exemplar in service and hospitality.

The reception by the host was excellent. The whole property, in its grandness, was cozy and inviting. The room was spacious and amply apportioned. The amenities were exceptional. Staff were very flexible with guest schedules. We loved the solitude of the pool area plus access to self-service coffee beverages. The multiple unique spaces allocated for guests to relax provided a welcome place to reflect on the days adventures as well as plan tomorrows next ones. As guests, we felt comfortable and luxuriated upon from the Moroccan inspired fabulous bathrooms to the nothing left to be desired inclusive breakfast. The host was informative of the unique features of the property as well as the heritage loadstone of this property to the cultural tourism of La Orotava and Tenerife.

The view from the windows was exceptional. Interior was unique. The staff was helpful and friendly. The whole experience was like living in your own villa.

Great base to explore La Oratava

Really friendly host. Beautiful building with lots of spaces to sit and relax. Really handy for centre of town and lots of restaurants. Reserved parking at the front.

Breakfast was the best only disappointing thing. Very basic continental style with long life cake and croissants.

I simply adored it. Wished I could have extended my stay.

Amazing place, superb architecture and brilliant artwork, fascinating history and good location to visit. Teide and other historical sites nearby. The view from the room was simply stunning and I doubt one could ever find a more sumptuous bathroom.

No complaints, perfect place.

Stunning building, with its beautiful lounges and art works. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room (Lanzarote) a decent size, with large, Moorish, bathroom (shower only) and beautiful views of Mount Tiede, churches and the coast - including sunsets over the sea. Perfect for exploring La Orotava and catching the bus into Puerto de la Cruz. We had no problem parking in the street outside. For views, the room La Palma might even cap our room, Lanzarote. (And the basics: firm, with soft top, bed; good lighting; everything worked; spotlessly clean, lots of clothes storage/hanging space; powerful shower.....)
