Disappointing

It was all nice except incident and staff ignorance

Location

There was fire alarm in middle of the night and staff didnt bother to explain anything to apologise for 2 hours we were left in back garden beside electrical boxes locked out from reception only that my husband kicked emergency doors out we got out outside

The Hotel is beautiful and the place is good

The attitude towards us was biased. The fact that I wasnt in Louis Vuitton meant to them that I could be disrespectful. when we entered the hotel in raincoats, they pointed fingers at us as if some homeless people had come in. People in the restaurant were not happy that we sat on the terrace although there were already people sitting there. They brought drinks to someone but we were told to pour them ourselves. Terrible service experience. and the worst thing is that they asked for a deposit of 100 euros per room (which no one warned me about). No hotel has ever asked me for this.

location is quite good, within walking distance to Vatican City; Staff at reception are friendly, and it is easier to ask them call taxi for you, much faster than those online apps. There is also a popular rooftop bar.

Disappointing

The location was convenient, however we did not consider the Hotel to be good value for money.

Varied choice for breakfast and well presented. Staff pleasant however clearing of used plates from tables was slow. The location of the Hotel is excellent, close to Castell Sant Angelo and the Vatican. The Front Desk staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient. Germano, the driver of our return transfer to Fiumicino airport booked through the Hotel, was most helpful and courteous.

The floor plan of the room is too crowded with furniture. The sofa at the foot of the bed is superfluous and restricts movement with two persons in the room. The space within the wardrobe is also restricted, with the mini-bar taking up a large section of the wardrobe and no drawers are in place. On arrival we had to ask for the bathrobes and for more coat hangers, which were provided promptly. The selection of TV channels in English is limited solely to BBC. The room overlooked an internal courtyard which wasn't too attractive.
