Disappointing

The great staff can't save this noisy and overpriced hotel.

The staff was very helpful, polite and responsive. The first night we complained about the noise in the adjacent room and they quickly came to help. Afterwards they called us to make sure that everything is okay now and sent us complimentary treats.

The noise. It seems that the walls in the hotel are made of paper. We heard everything that was happening in the rooms next to us and in the hallway. The windows are not soundproof either. The location is quite central, but quiet, we still heard every single noise from the outside. As a result, every night we couldn't fall asleep until about 2am because of the noises either from other rooms, or from the street. The wifi. It is very slow. The last time I came across a wifi that slow and so disruptive was when I tried to connect to the internet via modem in the 90th. The room was quite poorly furnished. It was bearable but I expected much more for the money I had paid. So fairly speaking the hotel is 3 stars, no more.

The location and comfortable bed ( great beddings ) , great room size and lovely people at the reception

The coffee at the lobby bar can be better ( not from a capsule ) , too loud from the rooms next door ( the property should think of implementing better reducing noise solutions).

Superb

Lovely lovely stay, great hotel would definitely recommend

Room lovely, clean, spacious, excellent bathroom, very good shower with powerful water stream. All that you would expect for making tea and coffee, good air con. Location is walking distance from lots of nice parts of Barcelona, and near the metro. We brought our dog and felt comfortable with that because staff welcomed her with a bed, bowl and small treat.

At some times when I approached the reception I was ignored. This may be a cultural difference, but, if you are busy for a long period of time it is courteous to acknowledge the person waiting, not pretend they just arent there.

Incredibly adapted for a stay with a baby

The facilities were incredibly comfortable to travel with a baby. The breakfast room even had a baby themed space with amenities specially crafted for the little ones. Amazing detail!
