Cute setting

We booked for one night over Christmas, so we werent at the property very much besides sleeping and breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was ok, not amazing. The setting though was lovely. The rooms are cute, you have everything you need, except for a shower (Only bath).

Making plans to return again. Loved it.

Bed was very comfortable with an amazing view. The staff was very friendly. The facility was great - you felt like you were staying in a luxurious tree house. Our 5 year old loved the pool and beach. There are kids and dogs everywhere which we loved. The food was fine. We loved that you could walk to the beach and to some local restaurants.

There was a beautiful porch off of our room, but it was shared and was used as a smoking porch by all of our neighbors, so that was the biggest detraction of the property - people walking past your bed and smoking right outside your room in front of the most amazing view of the ocean.

Definitely Recommend!

I loved everything about Monkey Valley Resort. I can't fault anything. The staff is friendly and efficient. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The chalet itself is spacious and well equipped with everything you would need for a weekend getaway. Direct access to the beach is a path straight to Heaven. We finally found a place that allows us to disconnect to reconnect.

Breakfast is not included in the room rate.

Amazing location The path and proximity to the beach

Seeing an extremely large rat whilst in bed was very scary. Still found empty wine bottle and dirty ashtray in room from previous guests. Had to call housecleaning to clean the room. Dog poo on paving at entrance to restuarant Front line staff not able to answer or assist. Should be more informed about the area eg we asked about the shipwreck on the beach and which way to walk, etc. They did not know what we were talking about.
