I like the ambience of the hotel.

Breakfast. Please add more options like cut fruits, vegetables and other quick breakfast options apart from sweet oats.

Super nice stay with friendly staff

Super friendly staff, good simple but nice breakfast, very quiet, calm, clean, spotless furniture. Very nicely located near Union Square. Walkable as it is downtown!

It was a nice pleasent stay.

This is a good budget place to live. Facilities are very good. They even provided space to stay after checking out. Extremely well behaved people and staff. Breakfast was also on time.

The location is a bit tricky. Also, sometimes it smelled of something weird. The heating system could be improved but overall it's very good.

Very good

Good location, basic room that fit my needs.

Room was clean and comfortable, had a microwave and mini-fridge which I always appreciate, but no hot water kettle. It also had crockery but no cleaning supplies (sponge, dishwashing soap). Rooms were also cleaned daily. Location was convenient to my conference at the Hilton nearby, just be aware of where you are walking as it's right next to the Tenderloin. The continental breakfast was also decent, I actually found it had more protein available than the Hilton! There is also a handy mini-market next door that had quality goods. I also had some issues with my foreign credit card, the concierge was more than accommodating while I sorted it out.

Would have liked a tea kettle in the room. The old-fashioned elevator can be a little tricky when your hands are full but I figured it out.

Very good

The rooms were large, very clean and very comfortable. Lots of nice homey touches (soft patterned sheets and beautiful quilts). Nice people at the desk. Complimentary breakfast (very basic, but good).

Staff were friendly. Location was good and safe - just 5 to 7 mins from the Fisherman's Wharf. Lots of tourists information/pamphlets available at/near the front desk. Several eateries were within walking distance. Lobby area is homely, nice and warm.

Breakfast spread was limited. Room was rather aged, dim and my ceiling light did not work on the 2nd day. There's no safe. And you can't open any windows for fresh air....

Very good

Great place to stay when visiting San Francisco!

I loved that it had something of old San Francisco about it. Good location not far from Union square. The room was very comfortable with large opening windows. The staff were fabulous! They were helpful, informative and very personable.
