Exceptional

Relaxing weekend getaway

Free upgrade to master suite and prosecco despite the room being only 10 minutes late in being ready- staff were amazing. Nice atmosphere in the bar. Great breakfast. Perfect location when travelling by train but visiting restaurants, bars and the Oracle.

Great location in Reading, spacious rooms with good staff.

A last minute booking because we were stranded at Reading station due to bad weather. Great location near the station, spacious room and very good staff. There was a particularly cheerful lady that served breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended.

The heavy window blind fell off when we tried to close it!

Pick of the hotels I've stayed in in Reading - but beware if you take a car.

Warm welcome at check-in. The bar was very friendly; and dinner was good. Couldn't fault the staff.

Parking is a problem: there's no car park, and few parking spaces in the vicinity. I ended up getting a ticket in the nearby station carpark.

Location and comfortable room.

Getting a bit scruffy in parts. Bathroom particularly needs a re-fresh though still good value.

Comfortable, clean room. Excellent meal in the restaurant and a lovely lady looking after us.

Rooms would benefit from brighter lighting. After being out all day, we went to the bar for a drink and, despite other people being in there with drinks, we were not served as they told us the bar was closed. This Was at 9.10pm.! It was Christmas, but we have stayed here for Christmas for the last three years and the bar has always been open. Not a good end to the day.
