Its a cold house!

We couldnt get the heater on, so the house was 12-14 degrees all week. We tried calling the number for help several times, but without luck. We could only write to them in the app. After 2 days we went for another place. After 3 days away they wrote that there had been a engineer at the house. We went back to the house but the house was still cold (12 degrees).

Pleasant

Pleasant stay for what it was for

It was next to amenities. It had a cozy feeling to it. It was more spacious than we thought. Smart TV meant we had entertainment in the house. We generally used the house as a place to sleep and cool down from a day/night out in Edinburgh, and it definitely fit that purpose.

There was dust buildup behind a lot of the radiators. The hallway toilet is not fixed to the ground. You cannot control the temperature within the house as the thermostat doesn't work. The fridge is wobbly and this almost cause stuff to fall out. The mattresses on the beds were really hard, there was actually a spring poking out of mine. The couch was actually more comfortable. The ensuite toilet flow value didn't work correctly so you had to wait hours for it to fill. Curtains didn't close all the way in most cases and let a bit of light in.

Nothing. Its horrible.

Its not a 3 bed house, one bed is in a conservatory that has no curtains or blinds, and non secure windows. The property is in a very bad state. The owners do not respond to messages. We had to leave and find alternative accommodation.

It was a very uncomfortable stay overall, and the property needs a lot of work to get it to an acceptable level.

Location was great.

Exterior of the property was very poor. See photos. Garden was overgrown and had weeds everywhere. You could barely get to the front door with the overgrown shrubs. The bins had not been emptied from the previous stay and were strewn all over the side of the property. On the interior, there was a musty odour inside the property. Most of the internal doors didnt close fully , including the main bathroom. The shutter used to close off the third bedroom could not be retracted. The toilet in the main bathroom was not properly attached to the floor. The property did not reflect the advertised offering at all. Very disappointing!
