The location of Levels Unawatuna is loved by visitors, but renovations are needed as the rooms look old and bathroom walls are water-damaged. Cleanliness of the rooms also needs improvement. The staf (Read More)f, especially Sandani and the room boy, are friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing delicious food and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. The location is peaceful and quiet. The views from the pool are stunning. The staff at Levels Unawatuna are highly recommended. The service is friendly, but parking is inconvenient. The food and drinks are good, but the coffee is mediocre. The rooftop view is nice and soothing. Coffee quality is cheap.

The staff were friendly. This property has potential.

The pictures dont reflect the current state of the property AT ALL. You can see there is so much potential at Levels, but it is in need of some desperate love. This could really be a lovely property if the time and money was put in to it. Everything felt dirty and grubby!

Very good

A property with a lot of potential but just in need of some tlc

We thought the staff were excellent, very quick to sort out any issues with the room, etc. They were friendly and did everything with a smile and were always polite. We loved the pool area and location. Aircon was really efficient.

The property is looking a bit tired in places. See through glass doors meant the room was dark with blinds closed for privacy. We always had to ask for towels once our room had been cleaned,

Not worth the money

It is somewhat close to Jungle beach and the food was ok. They fixed our hot water situation.

The pictures of the property is deceiving. The pool is dirty and the building is quite run down. We didnt have hot water until we asked them to fix it. There was no kettle and the lights in our room didnt even really work. The room was quite dirty with uncleaned windows, hair all over the bathroom and just smelled weird. The hotel is on top of a hill and we got a view of telephone poles blocking the ocean view. Also, it was hard to access the place because the Tuk tuk didnt want to go up the hill that steep.

Superb

Excellent food and service, 100% recommended

I had an excellent stay here! The rooms were nice, pool was clean. The food and service were by far the best thing about this place! They allowed us to have a late check out. Would definitely recommend and come back to stay here again!

There were a couple of bugs in the room (harmless ones)

Very good

hotel on the top of Rumassala giving a very relaxed stay

The hotel is situated in a lovely location. The small garden with same birds making nests was a welcome scene. Staff was keen and tried hard to serve guests. Since there are small number of rooms in the hotel there were times we could use the pool for overselves

tiles need special cleaning in some areas. Dust bin was broken.

Disappointing

There wasn't anything really to like to be honest...

- The taxi driver who organised to take me back to the airport was drinking from a whisky bottle while driving me back for an early morning flight at 3am...the taxi driver was organised by the hotel - The room and bathroom were quite dirty - The location was 15 minutes away from the main town with nothing in the immediate area to explore...without a tuk tuk needed - Much better places to stay at within the area. Stay closer to the main area/beaches
