I told the host I was going to leave at 6.30 in the morning and I was told I was not going to get a hot breakfast because of that. But when I was preparing to leave there was a lady who was having an omelette in the dining area. Found that a bit strange.

Lavender Moon is a comfortable home away from home conveniently situated in Mhlanga.

The rooms, dining and living room areas are comfortable. The view is great from the dining room. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast Siya cooked for me was very delicious. He is an asset on the property. There is plenty of parking for this size B&B. Its secure. Its a short drive to Gateway Mall, the beach and to the airport.

The floors were not cleaned in my room. Other than that everything was perfect.

Claire, the owner is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse is well situated with a nice view, and everything is very functional, perfect for corporates.

The place is in a perfect location and I loved its beauty and good service. It was everything I imagined, comfortable bed with spotless linen. One of the best places in Durban 10/10

I give the bathroom 8/10 though it was clean the bathtub had hair inside and I couldn't use it.
