Blissful NYE

Absolutely stunning property in the middle of lush greenery with views of a lake that resembled a painting. Very high quality fixtures and even had a Sonos speaker! Very clean, super comfortable bed and kitchenette and fridge came in handy. We were welcomed by the owner of the property, Mr Roshitha. An absolute gentleman. Definitely going to be back here next month!

Superb

Amazing place. Modern and clean apartment in the heart of a jungle. A view of the lake in the distance and the sound of nature. I recommend it highly. Wonderful host too.

Very good

This small hotel consists of 6 spacious rooms with large balcony - 1 room per floor. Its new, clean with modern design and furniture, has everything for comfortable stay and for cooking by yourself. Location is very quiet, you can enjoy the observation of wild life (squirrels, bats, huge lizards) from your balcony.

Wifi was very slow and besides the mobile internet also didnt work in this area. So keep this in mind if you need to work. This place quite is far away from the cafes and the beach - 10 minutes by car or tuktuk. But thats a fair compensation for the quietness. The villa is located on the side of the lake and surrounded by swamp. After rains there is evaporation from this swamp.

Upmarket self catering option away from the center

Big room with a patio as we were on the ground floor. I think the upper rooms with balconies and a view would be even better. Upmarket, feels new with fantastic bathroom. Self catering. Away from the noise of Hikkaduwa. Right in the foliage.

No catering on site and a 10 minute tuk tuk to town. Works for self catering though...microwave and stove in a kitchenette. Also no safe. Warm water for the shower, not hot.

A beautiful and cozy place in the middle of the jungle, 2 km from the beach. Very friendly staff and best place for leisure in SriLanka

A beautiful peaceful paradise

Karawwa Luxury Villas is beautiful. The rooms are very stylish spacious and clean. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. You can spend ages on the terrace outside your room just listening to nature. The owner and staff couldn't be any nicer.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. I would say that it is a little bit away from town but I had a scooter and it was only 6 or 7 minutes ride.

This place is absolutely fabulous! The green landscapes, the lake view, the infrastructure and equipment was perfect, and the bed was the best bed we have had in this trip. The owner and staff were so helpful, attentive and kind. We fully recommend this place!

Amazing stay and excellent value

Amazing room, location, staff and facilities. Id even left some clothes behind which the owner called to say he would store for me, which was really nice. The room was huge and immaculate, with a lovely bathroom and two balconies!
