Pleasant

Staff took initiative for activities and the common areas were well used by guests and staff during the evenings. The hostel is in a more quiet area about 10 min walk out of town.

Staff sometimes used guest rooms when there was an empty bed to chill because of the AC and they were too focused on hanging out with the guests for my liking. The kitchen and bathroom were not clean.

Disappointing

Washrooms should be cleaner.

It was really affordable for a budget traveller. Hosts were really kind and they made sure we were briefed and guided across Gokarna.

The hygiene of the bathrooms was really bad. It wasn't being cleaned regularly, considering the number of people using it. We understand it's a hostel but hygiene is extremely important. The rooms were clean but bathroom was really pathetic.

Superb

Going to gokarna w/ friends and not staying in Sturmfrei is a major miss.

One of the best experiences one could have while out with friends. Staffs became friends. Everyone was really helpful. The jamming session at night will always be one of my best nights. It's fun to stay with complete strangers in the same room and eventually they become friends.
