We had a pleasant stay and the staff was flexible and understanding.

It was a family business and it really felt like home and staff taking care of us. There was someone always around if we needed something.

Ok

Ok but I stopped going to their restaurant due to bonfire smoke. Apparently India charges for waste collection. Smoke is a big problem in this area early in the morning.

Shower. I had to move to another room.

Added touches like the hand painted wall murals really added charm. Our room was on a corner and we had a fairly spacious outdoor sitting area that was quite private.

Shower drain backed up every time we showered, even briefly and water from the drain was dirty.

Rooms are impeccably clean and decorated with wall paintings of vines and birds. Mosquito nets are in good shape and fan worked very well. Very helpful staff.

They don't have complimentary breakfast, but the room/ bathroom is neat & clean

They should make the bathroom more comfortable, you don't know where to put/hang things.

Simple and comfortable stay in Varkala

The accomodation is in a good location, close to the helipad and walking distance from many cafes and restaurants. The staff is really kind and helpful. The bathroom is clean and with easy hot water supply. There is an outdoor sitting space which is an added advantage for sitting outdoor to chill.
