Worth every penny, big spacious rooms

Rooms are really big room for the price you paid. Hot water shower is good. The staff is very helpful & not pushy at all. In house restaurant serves food till 9.30pm which is really helpful if you reach late.

The location is a bit secluded but its walking distance to main street of Thamel, which is a big pro.

Superb

Clean, large room with hot shower and good water pressure. Walking distance from all Thamel attractions but also quiet enough down a side street. Kind and friendly staff - Srisana in particular. Luggage room available. Great value for money.

Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They helped us with finding cheap laundry service, local rate taxi, sending a package to Europe etc. The room was nice and spacious.

They forgot to tell us that breakfast was not included (the information in the room says that it is included, so we got a surprise at the end of our stay). Breakfast has everything and coffee is good! Breakfast tables are a bit dirty.

Fantastic budget in excellent location

I enjoyed staying here so much that Ive extended my stay! Thank you to Subin, the night receptionist, who has been especially helpful. I recommend Hotel Mums Home if youd like to stay in Thamel, yet be in a quiet corner just off a bustling street where you will find peace.
