comfy, easy to walk to from Metro station when with limited luggage, nice reception

friendly check-in, large room with amenenties, rather centrally located to waterfront, option to use gym and swimmingpool, would stay again anytime

not for people with light sleep as motor way is close

Would stay again.

Pool and gym were great, our room had a nice balcony and was very clean.

The bathroom was a bit sparse, and showering was difficult as the bath was so thin that the shower sheet was impossible to avoid.

Location is not bad; it is around 5-10 minutes walk to the city center. The room has a kitchenm which is great ifor guests planning to cook.

Parking is available and costs NZD30 per night. The price is comparable to the public parking nearby but it is still considered expensive. NZD150 bond required at check-in.

Great location & staff. Good value for price.

Location was great. Underground parking was great and gave flexibility to come and go in the day for a fixed $30. The staff were helpful. The small kitchen fridge was useful for cooling drinks and breakfast. Aircon worked well.

Shower head a bit low on the wall but the pressure was good so not really a complaint. Sofa a bit small.

Its an average hotel

I expected better quality as I stayed in grand chancellor before in a different city. I realised upon arrival that in Auckland the hotel changed its name to Chancellor, they dropped the word Grand, perhaps because their standards are lower than in other cities.
