The location in downtown Annapolis could not be beat. It was a pleasure to stay in this building with its rich history.

The in-room coffee machine and in-house coffee wasn't great, but a coffee shop was close by.

My daughter and I left the inn with wonderful memories of a safe, clean, comfortable, historic and perfectly located vis

Location perfect. Cleanliness. Lovely. Except for a very strong mildew smell in hallway. Beds, pillows, linens were heavenly.

The very young, Im assuming inexperienced, young lady at front desk was very Nice, but needs more training in greeting, answering questions, being informed about area. The valet was hard to find the night we arrived and the next day. We just parked ourselves. The shower bar was hung incorrectly so that the curtain hung to the floor and slid down to center of bar. Not really a problem, but might need to be addressed.

We had to ask 5 different hotel employees to guide us to our room since we were not in the main building, room heater sounded like a jumbo jet landing on our ceiling, elevator took 4 tries before it would stop on the first floor; usually stopped on the 2nd floor and I could not find the stairway, lobby coffee dispenser ran out of coffee and no one refilled it, bottled water difficult to find in lobby of our building. Also, could not get TV remote to work. Definitely not worth the price.

Comfy, Cozy, and centrally located for easy walking access to most of the historic area of Annapolis

Right on the roundabout circling the state capitol building! Right in the heart of the old quarter of Annapolis, and perhaps a 20 minute walk from the Naval Academy or any other part of the old quarter. Annapolis is a beautiful city to walk around, and this Inn is right smack in the middle of it.

There was nothing about our stay that was unpleasant, or couldn't be perfectly well understood by looking at it. The Inn is an historic building with a more recent addition in the back, rubbing elbows with/surrounded by other historic buildings built in the 1700's. Our room only had a small window facing an inner courtyard, but really, other than a 2-3 rooms at the front of the Inn, all of the rooms could only possibly face in to the courtyard, or out ... looking straight into some other building. So a non-issue. All other things about the room and placement were quite excellent!

Disappointing

Great location, very pretty hotel

When we first got there (2.20pm) we were given key cards and went up to our room. They didnt work so I came back down to reception to get them re-programmed. They said the problem should be fixed so I went up to try again but no luck, the cards still werent working. For the next 2 hours (yes, 2 HOURS) I went back and forth from reception to the room to try to get them to work. We were only in Annapolis for 1 night and by the time this was fixed, it had eaten into our day. It isnt acceptable to have this issue and not have any gesture of good will. Unfortunately, this affected our opinion of the hotel. Great location, nice room, clean, but not acceptable.

This will be the first of many stays!

I was there for an educational couple of days with my homeschooled grandkids. The hotel itself offered wonderful opportunities to expose the kids to history and being in the center of the colonial area and across from the Maryland State House was perfect! The staff was wonderful!

Our go-to location in Annapolis

The Historic Inns are our first choice for lodging in Annapolis. Everything is within easy walking distance. The rooms are unique, with a historical flair that always delights.

One minor problem we had was a non-operational coffee maker. We reported it and I am confident that the staff got it fixed or replaced.
